JOURNEY – UBC

Journey development at UBC features 80 contemporary westcoast-style apartment homes, embodying a look and feel that conjures earth and sky, water and forest. Residents can travel to their homes along a pebble-stone path, crossing a natural brook to an outdoor lobby filled with First Nations carvings. Natural landscaping focuses on lush native ferns and trees, while a roof deck offers sunset views over the ocean and islands. The entrance canopy is built from timber, hand-cut stone and glass in the post and beam style reminiscent of another west-coast contemporary classic, UBC’s Museum of Anthropology.
