Trio, with 59 rental units, is located in the now fast developing area of West Coquitlam a short walk from the Burquitlam SkyTrain station.

The building’s design with West Coast architectural aesthetic of simple forms, has similar architectural expression to our adjacent project, Duet Flats.
The expressive frame at the 2nd through 5th floor is used to reinforce a pedestrian scale along Como Lake Avenue and helps to articulate the perception of reduced volume at the uppermost two storeys. This project strives to provide rental housing in the City of Coquitlam that supports a variety of unit types with 20% of 3-bedroom family units. Residents at Trio can enjoy large outdoor spaces including a common rooftop terrace for entertaining or relaxing.

Trio, similarly to Duet is noteworthy for sustainability and features cross-laminated timber (CLT) panel construction, SmartWoodTM combined with QuietHomeTM technology that exceed industry standards in sustainability. The 6- storey building features 3-ply CLT floor panels and elevator shaft is made with 5-ply CLT panels.
