Start of a construction project ‘The Hawthorn’ was celebrated with memorable groundbreaking ceremony.

On February 04th, a ground-breaking ceremony took place for a new Passive House development by Brightside Community Homes Foundation, “The Hawthorn,” which will bring 100 affordable rental homes for seniors, families, and people with disabilities to the Marpole neighbourhood.

Integra Architecture joined Brightside and other project team members including VanMar Constructors BC Inc., and Colliers, to start of the construction on the ground by way of a ceremonial shovel. It was a great opportunity to bring everyone together to celebrate the milestone, give thanks, and share news about the project.
