BELLE ISLE – TOWNHOMES ON THE PARK

The project site is adjacent to the currently developing Lions Gate Village Centre, on the north-east side of Lions Gate Bridge, contributing to the area’s livability. Belle Isle is a 3-storey stacked townhouse development oriented around landscaped courtyards with walkways that link to the adjacent neighbourhood and to the proposed public park to the north. As a significant enhancement to the public realm and outdoor amenities, the proposal included a subdivision and conveyance of land to the District of North Vancouver to expand Belle Isle Park. This land exchange provided a critical connection for the park to the new community centre being built in the Capwest project and was instrumental to the redevelopment of Belle Isle Park.

Structural steel radius staircases leading up to the roof top patios are one of the striking features of the townhomes’ modern design aesthetic.
