The proposed Seymour Estates development is envisioned as a vibrant multi-family residential project in the prominent location at Lytton Street and Mount Seymour Parkway. The project is a redevelopment of existing buildings, built in 1969 and will include 333 market rental and affordable market rental units. The 4-parcel, 15-building project is anticipated to take 8 years to complete.

Given the large scope of the development, it was important to provide a variety of building typologies and forms to intentionally create the feel of a neighbourhood that is built as several projects over time, and that responds to the changing needs of the community.

The buildings range from 3 to 6 storeys stepping down in height from west to east along Mt. Seymour Parkway. Respecting the scale of the single-family homes to the east a mixed of townhouses, stacked townhouses and apartments is envisioned for the site. The neighbourhood pedestrian connections, sidewalks and boulevard trees will be enhanced.
